The Initial Public Offering (IPO) drew exceptional investor attention, with subscriptions surpassing the initial offering by a staggering 37 times, totaling MAD 40.6 billion (USD 3.9 billion) against MAD 1.1 billion (USD 106 million) initially sought.

This successful debut reflects the growing interest in Morocco’s agricultural sector as well as the Casablanca Stock Exchange’s ongoing role in mobilizing capital to support businesses across various industries

The overwhelming demand for CMGP Group’s shares signals strong investor confidence in the company’s growth potential, as well as the broader economic significance of the agricultural industry in Morocco.

A recognized leader in irrigation, solar energy, plant protection, and water and sanitation services, CMGP Group has long been at the forefront of the agricultural sector. With this IPO, the company looks to fuel its expansion plans, particularly its ambitious vision of boosting its presence across Africa.

The listing is a key step in securing the necessary resources to achieve its growth objectives, which include driving innovation and sustainability in agriculture through cutting-edge solutions.

The IPO, which ran from December 2 to 6, was structured as a combination of capital increase and share sale, with MAD 300 million (USD 28.5 million) raised through the increase and MAD 800 million (USD 76 million) from the sale of existing shares.
